Even the tiniest drop can set off a ripple, growing into a transformative wave. We see every educator, student and tech expert as a drop of water in our wave, and only by acting together can we bring about the necessary changes in education.
Back in 2021, when the world was disrupted and under heavy lockdowns, we launched a pioneering pilot AI program in Croatia for middle and high schools. This initiative, co-created with engineers from the globally renowned omni-channel engagement leader Infobip, was a bold step in reshaping educational paradigms.
The project initially included 150 teachers and 1000 students across 60 schools, funded under the ‘School of the Future’ banner. This was made possible through strategic alliances with other visionary companies who recognized its transformative potential and supported the project as part of their CSR initiatives.
After witnessing remarkable results and organic growth through word-of-mouth marketing, the project went international and transcended borders. It now counts over 600 schools in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the United States, with ambitions to expand globally.
By 2023, it became evident that the project’s identity needed to evolve in tandem with its expanding scope. Hence, we embarked on a strategic rebranding journey, leading to its new identity: ‘STEMwave – School of the Future’. This rebranding is not merely a change in name; it signifies our commitment to staying at the forefront of educational innovation and reflects our ever-growing community. One drop at a time.
The STEMwave project is now home to a community of tech leaders and educators driven by common values and a shared desire to improve education. Our mission is empowering students to make waves and create meaningful changes in the world.
We are relentless in our pursuit to provide the youth with meaningful educational opportunities, and we envision a world where every child has access to the education they deserve.
In line with this vision, we are thrilled to unveil our latest website – stemwave.education – a testament to our international journey and a beacon for future educational innovations.
While stemwave.education is currently making waves in the United States, our vision doesn’t stop there. As the project grows and our community expands, we’re laying the groundwork to embrace educators, students, and tech experts from around the globe. Our mission to revolutionize education knows no borders, and we’re excited about the potential to include more countries in our journey towards educational innovation.
